hello all im soo pumped for xmas this year!!! i just saw the detector im in love with today( the garrett at pro ) across the street. some guy from albany had it and i checked it out! the guy had no idea what he was doing but i showed him somethings...lik pinpointing. im going to get the garrett at pro for xmas and from my gma the propointer! and then after i get good with the detector i will prob buy the beastly 5x8 coil! :headbang:
my heart is pounding out of my chest because im so excited! i think im going to buy from http://www.bigboyshobbies.net/
he seems like a good person to buy from instead of kellyco junk he sells the good stuff!
and i heard binghamton ny wont get any snow this year till 2012 :headbang: "knock on wood"

Im right there with yah!

Read the manual several times. The audio in the pro mode is super. It will find good amongst trash even with the stock coil in pro mode(which has a faster target response). Me thinks you'll be very pleased, oh by the way its waterpruff to 10 ft.

There are some great videos on the Garrett web site to learn from. Go to the ATP page and look them up. I keep going back from time to time just to refresh my memory and pick up on a few more tips here and there. They also load up new vids on field hunts every now and then.
Good luck with your ATPro, I know you will love it.

Just let me know when your ready. I can help with any questions and make ya a great deal!

With the exception of some of the fluff add ons, I don't think it fair to call kellyco junk.

It would more appropriately be like comparing a big box store to your local hardware store.

A lot of people choose one or the other and they all have their reasons.

My first detector(bounty hunter) was from kellyco and it is still running strong after 15years(my son uses it now not me).

On a less soap boxey note, good luck with the new machine. You will love it.
