So I heard of a native American tradition about a guide/helmsman for the original 13 colonies who landed on this island in quest of alleged English ships raiders. He found across a cave system allegedly used by Captain Kidd while searching this island. He explored the treasure chamber after ascending to the top and removed a single ring, causing it to cave in. And he only had one single lucky ring to show for his travels.
So I heard about a real treasure legend on this island.
