So frustrated, about ready to quit.

The junk is scrap-able....worth a little...get a little for digging at least. Some days are good, some days are bad. When I find pull tabs at something like 6-8 or more inches deep...I consider it a reassuring thing that my machine is seeing something at a decent depth. Any one of those clad coins or pull/pop tabs, bottle caps etc., could have and will eventually be something worth jumping up about.

For me, the exercise is more valuable than anything I'm going to dig up. If it's about money, you could easily make more by picking up aluminum cans every time you see one on the ground.

Salura that guy does amazing work. thanks for sharing. I wonder if I can find someone in my area who does this kind of art.

Well said "MrMikeJackie", I agree. Lots of junk = lots of people. Junk "hides" good stuff. Maybe try going over an area in discriminate mode, remove trash, then go back over the same area in all metal mode. That worked well for me just as recently as yesterday. Removed a ton of trash (pull tabs, bottle caps, slaw, bolts, screws and many other items too numerous to list) at an old tavern site, went back over area and found a '44 war nickel, a '63 dime, and 5 wheat pennies. Hasn't always worked out that way though. I have had many outings out finding nothing but trash/junk! Keep after it, and don't go out expecting "great finds". Enjoy the "hunt" ! Then when you do find cool stuff it will be all the more sweeter! HH mister and good luck to ya!
