I finally took some of my finds out of the shoe boxs. And put them in a display cabinet. Now I can see them all the time. Its a work in progress.
Still have alot more to put out, and im running out of room. Lol.
Would love to see your displays so we could get some ideas.
George

I'll share mine too!

This one I built this past summer. I built the bottom first, then quickly ran out of space and a couple months later I built the top! This is 90% of my years finds in here. I plan on saving these for a year-end post, where I will include some close up pictures.

This a large curio cabinet that I refinished. It was ugly oak veneer that I painted, redid the lighting and put different back panels on.

I also have a few of these hanging on the walls. They are "shadow boxes" from a craft store (about $7 each) that I cut some quilt type baton to put in. It makes deep "riker style" cases. I also use these to throw stuff in for homeowners who are interested in their history. Its cheap for me and displays really well for them!

Yep!!!! Thats were my inspiration came from! Great job Brad.
You definitely take everything to the next level.

Awesome finds I hope to have a display that would equal that one day

A fine display buddy. I cant imagine what twenty years will bring for you. Gold doubloons? Chain Cents? The Arch of the Covenant?

That's what I love about this hobby...endless possibilities and the ability to dream.

That is a beautiful display of your recovered treasures! Looks like the display should be in a museum. :occasion14:

As someone who is still essentially starting out I have to say some of these collections are amazing. Well done!

Very nice Vino! You have found some awesome stuff, and it looks killer displayed like that. Nice!

Beez, the "onion" is the large green bottle seen in a couple of the photos in post #1. Very old (18th century) and very hard to find one that is not broken.

Bright lights and glass display shelves to let the light shine through sure make difference in a display cabinet. Great job guys and thanks for posting these photos!

Love those displays; great job!

I am looking forward to having a nice display like yours... mine will be filled with 1980's matchbox cars, hose nozzles, clad, and my favorite.....copper roofing nails.

Truth be told, I am planning an epic display... stay tuned, my big reveal should be announced on Thanksgiving weekend...I'll do my best to get some good pics for you, and all of my "festive" friends here on Tnet..(that's a hint).

Nice displays, thanks for sharing.
