Probably not worth posting, but it's the only picture I got in the last couple of weeks. Was sitting killing time in California, and took the picture out of boredom.

I thought I would see something Halloween related. Oh great. Another African American who happens to find their way in front of your lens.

Ron, what a good eye you have!
1st, the interplay of sunlight/shadow is wonderful. Its cooler, even, than we all think; I'll 'splain that in a minute.
2nd, the Lady's flip-flops echo the ragged bottom of the planter (without themselves being ragged) and her clothing echos the planter and its plants, only in an upside-down reversal.
The wilted flowers are upstaged by a vibrant being who is chillin'.
But your pic is captivating and you feel there is more to it than meets the eye, right? I think so too.
On the left of your pic is a seated woman, on the right is a a/c service sign.

On the opposite chair, a square of sunlight is bisected by the table and appears as an equal = sign. Squint your eyes...
You see a Lady, an = sign and an air conditioning ad. *The lady equals cool.* And so she does. :sign13:
I would have totally engaged her- nice work, Ron!

Great shot Ron,it has a lot going on in it. I like the way the lighting is also.Your pictures always seem to tell a story,I can see this lady is probably waiting for her car to be serviced and wishes it was done. You shoot excellent wildlife shots, but I think your random people in the crowd shots are also really great. :icon_thumright:

Finally some folks are gettin it, and lookin at that composition in the pics. Probably they did all along. 50 years from now they'll still be a little more interesting. They're people pics, and there's always a potential for complaints there. I don't post too many people pics for fear that someone might say another messican wandered in front of my lens, but that's about all there is in the events I go to. 'Cept for me. Good pic, Ron, make a collection, and they'll be more important some day.
