Smelly Sluice??

Look for the location of the waste water plants along your creek or rivers. It does not have to be a human fed plant. Could be an industrial plant. The standards of what is released into the waterways is different by each state. Just saying based on locations you could be mixing it up with so nasty stuff causing the smell.

Have I mentioned I love my wife?
She'd kill me for this but this was an attempt at Gnocci...
We had frozen pizza instead.

Never eat things with names I can't pronounce....and that glob of
partially solid goo looks absolutely hideous..

Smelly carpet? Easy to fix...

Step 1. Take an upside down metal trash can lid, put the
carpet in it and douse with lighter fluid. Light match, toss
it on the carpet and step back until completely burned to ashes.

Pan down the ashes and collect the gold.

Step 2. Replace carpet with either new carpet or Vortex matting.

I've been thinking about replacing it, but haven't had time to do the reseach to determine what I want to replace it with - carpet, moss, or rubber matting (and what rubber matting if I go that route). I'm not sure the burning would be advisable in my case, since I am fairly certain my carpet is synthetic. So instead of a pile of ashes, I would end up with a plastic blob and a headache from the fumes.

Would the vortex matting be a good option under riffles and expanded metal??
