It does kind of look like the picture that you posted.
One of my pics shows the under side... It has 4 small holes.
Considering the size I think you are correct. I see now what appears to be threads and what appeared to me to be 2 large holes all the way through are just corroded out I think. The 4 small holes on the underside may be mold injection marks. (the pic is way too dark on my screen to see anything. I have found several types of lead caps still attached to some tubes over the years.
Exactly what size is it and are there threads in the center hole on the underside? It's lead, right?
