This is an odd looking piece to me. Looks like it could be old brass or copper because of a slight greenish patina. Have no clue what it is or what is was for. It was a 12.24-13.09 on my CTX 3030. One reason I'm so curious is that this was found in an area that used to be a civil war prison camp although there are homes there now so it could be newer or washed in from the flood of 1972. I'd appreciate any info and thanks for looking.
