Hello Forum,

Could anyone help me to identify this bottle? My guess is maybe a perfume bottle? Thanks for looking!

Thanks Hawks! I came across this bottle dump while detecting a new area. I wonder how old it is. I searched images on the internet, and nothing. The fact that it has a plastic or plastic type cap, and it's a screw top makes me think it's not to old. 30's? Just a guess though.

After a closer look at the glass, there seems to be lines or waves in the glass from the way it was made. Maybe it's older than I think.

I come across a lot of these while digging, usually in 1930s and 40s dumps. Perfume is a good guess, that or nail polish or something...

Thanks everyone. There is no brush for painting. There is a number 10 on the bottom of the bottle. I may never know what it was.

I'm thinking perfume from the 30's or so as well. A picture of the mouth opening would help to confirm this. The top is probably Bakelite.

I concur. A scent bottle with a bakelite cap. Could date into the 40's. Similar to this one...
