Alright, just making sure you knew. I appreciate the recognition of my user name and it actually made me laugh although its used in a way such as "Look at what I found and the condition, man what a coin."

On a recent hunt, I found what appears to be a small, about the size of a dime, flat button. Nothing on face, but on back, two concentric circles,in between which is stamped;Warranted Rich Orange. Shank intact, though bent! Any info would be appreciated!???

That's a "gilt button". Date range 1830s to 1850-s. Not worth anything, but fun to find, since they tell you you're in the right date-range/strata to be finding very early seateds, etc....

I love finding the flat buttons. As Tom said, they can date the area for you.
You can find quite a bit of info right here using the search function. Your question has been answered many times in the "what is it" forum.
You can also do a web search with the info you provided. I haven't heard of the "rich orange" version of flat buttons.
