The container looks like the ones that used to hold small water brushes and paint when I was in school, great find :hello2:

a little background to the story please?
Where, conditions, hunted before? etc....inquiring minds want to know!

This was found near a baseball field in a tiny little town. Actually it was in the grass on the side of the road leading into the baseball field, an area that would probably be overlooked by most people. It registered a solid 35 on my Fisher Id Edge and was down about 5 inches. I cut the plug and when I pulled it out, the Walker was right in the bottom staring up at me. I've detected this spot before and found a few tokens, clad, and old shotgun shells.

great find, if we all could be so lucky, i got out for about an hour 2 clad nickels today :laughing7:

I would say a plastic box like that goes back 30 to 40 years, like someone said a paintbox.
Very nice find off the beaten path.

Nice Bro!! That's the kind of plug I would like to open up! That would definately qualify as a cache!

Keep it Up!!!

MJ

Congratulations on the cache! There is nothing like that thrill of finding something that was hidden. Me and my daughter found several pennies in an old rusted case about a year ago. I would love to find one with some silver!

Very cool Find!
Childs little cache,
I found a similar in aluminum 'Midol' box, no Walker...
2 Mercs, '43 P Nickel, two Wheats.
or was it one merc and 2 war nickels :D
tiny wooded area behind a school.
Congrats !!

Awesome find! The plastic case looks in color and design like that used to make cases for toys and toys of the 1950's. Fair to assume? :icon_thumright:

Nice find and Congrats on the cache , still working on my first walking lib, cant wait to have one stare up at me

I appreciate the comments. I wish everyone could experience the excitement I did.

I bet!!! That must have been awesome. You should build a little shadow box display and mount them all in there along with a pic of the area. VERY cool :icon_thumleft: Congrats ;D
