That JG one is very nice, made by Josheph Goldmark from 1864 to 1866, could be worth some money :)

The H one is made by Winchest Repeating Arms co. probably a common one.

Alot of the rest look to be government issue military rounds.

I'm thinking that H is a .44 rimfire for the original Henry (predecessor to the Winchester) repeating rifle. Could be valuable.

, Winchester Repeating Arms Co. Raised H in depressed Circle.

Definetly Winchester, im not sure if it was for the henry series though.

The R A ones are definetly wartime, they were made by Reminton Arms Co for the military, i think ww2. The UMC (union metallic cartridge co) ones are wartime issues too. I also see anf F A headstamp, meaning Frankfort Arsenal, most likely wartime issue. The TW one could be Twin Cities Ordnance Plant in Minneapolis, MN, Not sure if that particular ones wartime but alot were. the dc16 one has me stumped, but it could be some form of Dominion cartridge. oh yea, wra co is obviously winchester repeating arms co :) Nice cache, my guess is someone hid their ww2 stuff in a box in the attic.

Yes. I can't remember the time frame, or if Winchester added the H or retained the H in honor of Henry. They still use it today. But the size of it makes me think it's a .44, and I don't think they've been made in a very long time.

In the first photo, lower right... I have found them at a WW1 training camp. Now I know what the item holding them together is.. I couldn't figure that out until I saw your post.. Thanks.. :D

Nice box. I think you found a box from a military veteran that used to hunt and he kept certain rounds to remind him of special hunts, his grandpa, and his time in the service. You just looked at someones past.
