Hello,
This map shows the location of the Slumachs Mines claims belonging to now passed away prospector Jack Mould who died searching for gold in that area. Jack Mould did not find SLumachs gold at the head of Bute Inlet but he did find an old spanish mine. He also believed a Spanish wreck containing ore from the mines sank in Bute Inlet and that he found a document in the archives in Seville which backed up his claims. I like the name of the creek on this map just north of Slumachs Mines.
