Nearly 3” of rain in 36 hours. I had several loud, clear signals that disappeared. I’d have a crisp 72 VID, dig a 4” deep hole, recheck and no signal in hole or dirt pile. Not always 72 CID, that’s an example. I did find some misc aluminum pcs, a rusty tin can and can slaw. These 3 items were my only “keepers”: another harness ring, a Magtech .380 AUTO brass and the nut. The nut fits a 3/4” wrench, and appears to be 9/16” fine thread in the bore. It is not iron; no magnetic draw whatsoever. I’m guessing brass, possibly from a gas line or brake line. It looks like it would accommodate a flared tube. Thanks for looking.
