That would be a pretty wide sling. I have the same thing, about the same width, on my logger suspenders, or as the lady said the other day, galices.

I don't know if you have loggers in Remotopia, but in the western US, here is a picture of what loggers wear to hold their pants up, and I mean all of them, it's like a uniform, timber fallers, choker setters, riggin' slingers, shovel operators, cat skinners, all wear a tin hat, hickory shirt, over size pants and suspenders. I've indicated what I'm talking about with the red V. The second photo shows a timber faller posing with a coastal spruce, either in Oregon or Washington. Don't get many trees like that anymore.
