Went to the OBX today. A few clad...got there to late...the beach was packed. Gold eludes us again. Grrrrrrrrrr!

I grew up in that area. Head to Jockey's Ridge and enjoy that sand dune jumping....

Better yet...buy a strong kite and sail down the ridge...awesome memories.

Your not alone metal detective... been hunting around Destin. The surf is extremely rough. Only been hunting dry sand very few targets. I got excited just to see a beer cap. lol..

Matrix...I hunted dry sand from 10am till noon. Moved north about 24 miles and hunted from 1pm till 3:45pm. I decided today to dig everything no matter how crappy it sounded other than iron. I ended up with about 1.50 in change...one weird round black thing that's not a ring...one can...and an ungodly amount of pulltabs and bottle tops. Then I drove almost 3 hours back home. Been up since 5. All in the name of dirt fishing! Addicted!
