Skunk streak started here...

Hang in there, nothing beats finding a 40% at a gas station or store if you get a skunked. I just found a 40%er last weekend at a tobacco shop. These places seem to get alot of cash only customers, not to mention tobacco addicts that need their fix and will break their coin collections to get a cig or cigar.

I wish you luck. It's all perspective what people think is a long skunk streak. For me, 20 is not bad at all. I found 1 40% in my last 50 boxes and went 50 straight with nothing at all in Jan-Feb. I would look into other things to search and get away from halves. Thinking of how much work it was to look at all those coins, the dumping process etc...it was such a huge waste of my time. Oh yeah, the gas it took picking up and dropping off not to mention the tellers sighs when they saw the bags of halves got rather old to.

Hopefully it will turn around for you or you will have better luck with dimes or quarters.

I'm currently at 12 boxes and counting. Been thinking of trying a new bank, anybody know where Garda delivers?

I was told that TD Bank uses Garda. The teller at TD told me.

Thank you for the replies!

I'm glad I'm not alone....misery enjoys company. I know it would be cheaper to buy my silver from the local shop, but it is so hard to quit, even though I am getting skunk boxes.

I am praying the skunk streak ends soon. I haven't found silver in a loooong time!!!

it's all good when boxes contain silver, but I agree, skunk streaks can get real old real fast. Give halves a break for a bit, do some dimes, and maybe you'll get back on the silver in a month or two, that's my advise, hh!

My skunk streak now stands at 10 boxes.

I've got a decent arrangement at my local bank, for the most part, and I hate to lose my standing, weekly order of halves. Because of that, I am going to stick with it for the time being.
