My MO as of late, especially when time has been short, has been to look for small wooded patches on Google Earth near the center of some of our small towns. I've put together a decent folder of spots to check out, although most end up being posted, impossible to enter, or a local party spot. This week I got lucky with one of them, a small flat area near some boulders and a pretty stream right off a main road.

I was in a really trashy area, in a modified Fast program on the Deus, with the hopes of picking out a high signal. Suddenly I got a series of high tones in a small radius right in front of a big rock. First out was one of the quarters, which broke my months-long silver quarter drought. Then a Walker, which we used to find much more frequently but also a long time since I've found one. Six silver coins in all, plus one wheatie. Nothing else for the rest of the morning, but I have feeling there may be some good things to find in between the boulders.

Thanks for looking, hope you're all having a nice fall hunting season,

Steve

Wow... the sun shines on every dogs ass once in awhile, well done sir!!

Iv bin trying to hit some stateland spots that had home steads and that stuff is way to thick with briers right now....

Wow, I think the game plan is working. Nice haul.

What an outstanding silver spill ! Hope I run across one like that some day.

Excellent spill but the walking liberty really makes it a slam dunk of a find!

Nice job adding all those beauties to your collection. I love finding a silver coin then jamming the carrot back in the hole and it buzzes like a wasp nest
I like hunting hills in wooded areas that's where most of my coins spills are. Good job on the research it paid off. Tommy

Great work on the spill! More exciting than my 5 silver spill of 3 Rosies and 2 War Nickels last month. Lol. Keep it up!

sweet silver dig!!!
