Well last weekend I was granted and then denied permission to do an old yard. I thought that was the end of that, but then the homeowner approached me and said "hey, tomorrow would be good so come on over. Sorry we were busy last weekend". This morning I drove over there and was happy to see such a large yard. I was introduced to the family pet, what a nice dog!
I found a bunch of coins, couple of junk rings, lots of signals everywhere! I managed 6 silver dimes which was fun, and then I found something I never thought I'd ever find--an 1844 Province of Canada Half Penny Token. I might add that I went across the line to the US to detect this yard. I found a pre-confederation Canadian coin in the US?? I was delighted to say the least.
All in all it was a great morning, and there is still more of this yard to detect!
