I usually don't take a picture of everything, but today I got out after the storm and ended up at a beach that I haven't found anything good for awhile. This is exactly how it went, Sinker, sinker, sinker etc, 14K 8.6gr gold ring, sinker, sinker..... That's it, nothing but sinkers and gold, I can do that. A very small signal that I lost at first turned out to be a great find.

Nice find! I had a spot like that a couple of years ago after a storm. A washed out area on a popular beach where I found 85 lead sinkers and 3 gold rings on one hunt.

That's about a ring for every 29 sinkers. I could do that but around here its got to be about a "find" to every 45-50 sinkers. My back cant handle that kind of digging.

I like nothing better than finding gold in my scoop! Nice ring, good find!

Beautiful ring, congrats! :occasion14:

Congratulations on your beautiful recovery ..good work

Awesome ring! I recently melted all my lead down to make dive weights.. for diving for more gold... ended up with 4 5 pound weights. My wife got mad at me for melting lead in the kitchen though. lol

Wow any idea how old it is or what it’s worth
Only the scrap value. Normally I keep the ones I like and scrap enough of the rest to pay for toys. In the last 18 months I scrapped enough to buy a Equinox and a Excalibur. I have a childhood friend I trust, he looks at what I find If I want and gives his opinion If i ask but I've never sold anything as jewelry.
