Nothing too fancy here. Went back to a previously pounded closed school and dug questionable signals yesterday for fun. Found this nice 1937-S about 5 inches down. It gave off a single beep, but not a return beep. 45-46. IE, it would only beep in one direction. This was the case for two wheats I found as well. A 1940 at a whopping 9 inches and a 41 at 7. I was using E-trac's deep scan mode.

Great Coin!...it seems like those Mercs from the 30's have the best detail

makes you really wonder about those non repeatable hits, great find

Makes me regret not digging two single beeps I had today..

Nice mercury dime. My philosophy the past few years has been to dig everything! My trash has obviously increased, but good to great finds has increased exponentially. You never know until to dig!

Sweet. Looks like the old school hadn't given up all its treasures yet!
