I Sort of Cheated though.
The Quarter I Buried Years ago at about 7"
for testing. Because I Wasn't 100% Sure
I had the Correct spot.
took me awhile & Several Tries

Another find a Tiny Piece of Aluminum

Old looking ring, and cool that you didn't have to leave home to make a few finds.

Quite nice here today temp wise, at about 65, no wind, but a little wet.

Thanks !

64 Here but All your wind has

so the old homestead isn't hunted out..

apparently not Jim.
I Only wish half my yard wasn't swamp yet.
the best spots are still under water
& Anything in there is now sinking in fast.

Plus me driving through the Mud to get in & Out
is pushing everything fruther into oblivian.
add to that the countless Bricks & Rocks
I throw in the foot deep Tire Tracks daily :D

Anyway, Thanks all for looking.

Those are some great finds right in your own yard. Love that ring! Speaking of Canadian air, we've been in the mid 40s in the morns. Weds high was 61, so that is rather cold for LA this time of the year.

ive found most of my best finds in my own yard.

Same here! ;D Really like that ring, looks like a religious ring. Not too bad for that small coil to tag that quarter at that depth.

Since it's Catholic, I'm hoping it
may have Been from the Former
Our Lady of the Snows Church
out the road.
I Think it went out of Buisness in the 60's

highly posssible * it belonged to a member of the church especially if it was close by. -- in paris in 1830 a nun saw a "vision" of mother mary * who told her the design of the medal to be made , which the nun passed on to her superiors -- many folks wearing those religious medals had many blessings and amazing events occur in their lives --thus they became know as "miracle" or mirculous medals .

the 1830 if marked upon it --refers to the "event" date -- it does not mean the item was made in 1830 * since they did not start making them until 2 years later -- the nuns superiors watched her for a couple of years to see if she was pulling some sort of trickery or not -- finding out she was not to the best of their ability * and taking her at her word that what she said was indeed true --they started making and releasing the medals to fellow catholics .
