Just got back from a week long trip and snuck out for a couple of hours this afternoon with Marinedad. Got 41 clad coins for around $3.00, a 1960's watch, a 1953 Rosie and my highlight of the day, an 1897 Barber dime at 11 inches. The E-Trac said 12 inches and was screaming so I didn't give up. When my Lesche digger was totally underground I almost gave up but my SunRay probe was still screaming so I popped another inch at the bottom of the hole and there it was. I saw the silver and instantly thought I had a Merc. When I saw the 1897 date I was doing the happy dance. :occasion16: I love this hobby. Happy hunting to all!
