Silver ?

I was hiking and stuck my pinpointer in the ground and got a hit ,dug it up and i found a very heavy little piece of something don't know what it is but it has silver tones and will not stick to a magnet so its not metal..any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.thank you in advance for helping ne solve this mystery

That's an unusual way to go about it.

it has silver tones and will not stick to a magnet so its not metal..

Not sticking to a magnet just means it isn't iron, not that it isn't metal.

It looks like a crumpled piece of aluminum (maybe part of a can).

But its really heavy would it still be aluminum?

You really need to weigh it and tell us the weight so we can judge it's size to weight.

Depends on how much dirt is inside….if it is crumpled Al.
