Went to a little park in my area that has been md for many years, but is close to the house. Spent 3 hours finding a little clad junk ring and right as I was leaving hit a little area right by the entrance and started finding wheat penny's very shallow. Some were actually on the surface. Then get a iffy dime-penny and out pops a 45 merc. I start digging every thing and about 15 min later on a bad signal but nice high tone up come a 43 walking liberty half! I'm on cloud nine... My first one. HH

I found my walking half last year the same way ... numbers and cursor placement hinted at junk but the tone was sweet. Nice saves !!
