Silver World War one ring from 363d infantry

I found this ring in Golden Gate Park yesterday. The ring is from the 363 infantry from WWI. They fought in France. Most of the 363 came from San Francisco. Not sure what the F on the ring means. Could it be France? Company F?

That's a Silver ring worth keeping..Very nice find!!
 

Very cool find. Too bad you can't trace it to a specific soldier. But I have also heard most of the WWI records were burned in a fire.
 

The soldier would not be alive today. I believe the last veteran of WWI has passed.
My grandfather, who passed away in 1990 at the age of 96 was among them.
I have a silver ring with an Iron Cross and a couple of Iron Cross medals that came off of some unfortunate soul.
Plus a trench map and a bloodstained first aid apron which is really shaped more like a nail bag.
