Silver, wheats, & Surprise musket ball, sorry scrappy, not w/the atpro!!

So I wasn't feeling like atpro'ing today so I decided after my yardwork and wash/wax the truck id etrac at a local park ive hit before, so I didn't load up my atpro, but I loaded up my etrac, and etrac'd along at the etrac'ing park (lol ok scrappy, that's your fault)


lol, let me start over, after yardwork and other duties I hit a small park near me that ive had success at before, today wasn't any different, In two hours I managed 9 wheats, 1 with a shot through it! a 1951 roosie and the surprise of the day was the musketball, rang in 10-42 and it was deep, somewhere between 8 and 10 inches, screamed in loud and clear! The finds weren't earth-shattering by any means but it was a nice fun little hunt, thanks for looking and hh!!

I know what you mean WHADIFIND , past two hunts I haven't posted, something's missing and I think it's the fun, and I have no idea why.

Maybe it's the heat. Maybe we get used to finding stuff we already found. I'm working on a spot lately cleaning all the surface crap out. Zincolns, clad, pull tabs, slaw, etc so I just listen to the birds and feel the breeze as I do my thing. That helps me.
I remember a guy posting on here not too long ago (can't remember his name) saying he's hanging up his hat for health reasons as he could no longer swing a detector. With him in mind I try and enjoy the hobby as much as I can. Anyway, just sayin'

Thanks gary!, I think we all get in slumps where we just aren't feeling it, or like you say it begins to feel like a job or task, you should just get yourself to one of your target rich places, put the headphones on, and take that nice slow walk, paint the earth with your coil and relaaaaaaaaax!, youll get back in it for sure!

Thanks for the tips guys. It's part of why I get on here. To try and keep my drive alive and the fun continue. It's just lately that things are simply not as easy as they once were.

Usually, this calls for a trip to the mansion. So, I'm planning on giving that a try. There, I do not need to find anything.If that doesn't work, well,

yeah the wheat looked to be shot with a 22 or something small, I don't think ill be using my machine in my titles lol!!
