Hello everyone

Got out today in near record high temps here in central Ohio. 85 is nice. Got sun burnt while detecting and hunting for mushrooms. Found about 3 dozen morals. Black tops and a few greys. Frying them as I write this :o. Anyways, on to todays finds. Found a few old Wheat's, another worn merc and a few buttons. The one with the makers Mark is readable and about the size of a dime and flat. The other one is a military button......... How old???? I don't know. Also found a 1947 nickle, a 1963 Canadian Penny, some kind of rifle shell. Appreciate any help with either one. Thanks for looking, Ron

The Mercury dime is one of the great American coins, and really is a great example of sculpture for the masses. Spent during the Roaring '20s, hoarded during the Great Depression, and the spent again during WWII and the Baby Boom.

I wish each and every one were worth a thousand simoleons!

::) :D :D

wow good finds for Ohio!

Nice finds Ron!! Our morels are done here now,glad to hear your getting some of natures treasures also!!

Nice assortment. You have interesting finds.

Super hunting, CJ~ :thumbsup: Last month while hunting in the woods, I noticed a lot of morels growing. I've never eaten them, so I left 'em. I would assume they're long gone for the season by now around here.
