Silver Thimble, Seated, Barber, IHs and More!!!!

got out yesterday and today at an old home built in the late 1700s. the owners told me at one point the farm stretched 400 acres and there were 17 buildings in the backyard!

I brought my friend along with me, and while metal detecting for the first time, he found a 1875 seated dime. needless to say i think he has the bug!!

I also dug a cool old silver thimble, marked with an 8 (size??), a 1901 IH, 1906 barber dime, and some wheats. Not to mention the 1903 IH and cool old pocketwatch the owner wanted.... also pictured is an interesting ointment sampler!!!!!!!!!

Nice stuff, but I also wanted to say that your photos were phantastic. Clear, bright, clean, easy to see, well sized,just all around good. I could have told you everything there was to know on the creame can, but it can all be seen without getting a headache. Good job. A joy to look at.

1875 Seated on the first hunt!! Thats awesome... and I was jealous of my wife for finding a 1946 Rosie on her first hunt... Im still trying for my seated!! Great Hunt

Nice finds! I love the thimble! I have found only two thimbles (not silver)and they were both mashed.....congrats!
