I went out today for a quick hunt at a site that's been paying off for me lately, and after less than an hour of digging clad and junk, I got a solid 30 quarter VDI signal on my Equinox. I cut a plug, dug about six inches, and saw a beautiful sight: the silver edge of a coin in the hole:

I carefully cleaned it off and it was a nice 1964-D Washington quarter:


This is my third silver quarter (Barber, SLQ, and Washington) in three hunts (a hat trick?), which is an unprecedented silver streak for me. I sure hope my luck continues!
