Spoon is very heavy(for a spoon) and says 1881 (R)rogers(R) OneidaLtd.When droped rings like a coin. And it came out of very acidic ground still shiny.
My best find of day was a 1848 large cent.2nd for the year,4th if you count US 1/2 cents. Also got a silver rosey, dateless buffalo nickel, indian rail penny(wreath visible when wet.)and 5 wheat cents.Looks like i Finely got a new spot.
Foot note on friday i am sitting at a stop sign and i keep hearing clank, clank, clank.I look down the road and eye balled a big pipe wrench. It has a few scratches but still works.Very heavy duty.Bet someone was ticked to loose it.
