Thank you for the reply.Came from a home which was my great grandparents. My uncle had lost his ring near there he said digging fishing worms many years ago. I called him and told him I found the ring.He tried it on and it fit perfect.A while later he brought it back because his ring was marked inside and was gold and he said this was silver.Hate it won't his but sort of glad he brought it back. Thanks againIt could have been a wedding ring. Cool find.
I was with a friend when he dug a silver quarter ring and I have one made from a nickel that I dug many years ago.
Grats and thanks for the post.

We made those in the boy scouts back in the late 60's-early 70's. You would tap the edge of the coin with the inside of a spoon (about a million times ) until it widened out enough, then cut out the center.
I've found a couple of them so far.
Thanks GareNice ring nice find
