Silver ring found in large creek

I found this ring in a creek near my house. It has no markings and appears to be handmade. I have found items dating to.the 1830's in the area. Right after I found.it a woman in a kayak came up and said she also has an at pro also and asked if it was a signet ring? I said I have no idea? I did not clean it much so there is still some tarnish on it. It rang as an 85-86 on the at pro. It appears to be old, but I am no expert. It made my day!

That is what's referred to as a signet ring , yours looks like it has no initials
