Hey all,

Me and the guys made it back to the colonial spot where we've found a bunch of coppers the last two weeks and I dug another large cent. Later on Paco and I headed to the 1830's B&B where I got the seated quarter last week. I got a jumpy hit that was reading all over the place, dug down and pulled the first coin out - Barber Quarter - I ran over to show Paco and he noticed the coin mark on it and said "there's another coin in the hole that was laying on this one!" Excitedly we went back and I found the 1914 Wheat Penny in the dirt. While pouring the dirt back in the hole Paco yelled as he saw the Barber Dime fall back in. I swept the hole again and pulled out the Standing Liberty Quarter! What an awesome dig!

Now the Barber dime is pretty special - I've been hunting for over 25 years and have found just about every coin there is but have NEVER EVER found a barber dime! It's become the joke of our group - I mean it's weird I've pulled bust, seated, colonial, spanish, you name it but I've never ever found a barber dime - that is until today!

Thanks for looking!

I got an '02 barber Dime & a '12 barber quarter a week apart this month. My first of either one. It's funny what comes out of the dirt & when.

That is an awesome find.

What is the SLQ date?

Gotta love a pocket spill like that. Strange that it took the barber dime so long to show up.... congrats!

Sweet pocket spill, it can get exciting with multiple old silvers.
