Silver mine in Russell County, Virginia.
Just returned from a boots on the ground trip and was going through some of my Swift files and found this article. I though some of you might find it interesting. If any of you have ever read James A. Dougherty’s Geographical approach to the Swift Legend

this article would fall into the “Clinch version”. As to what happened to this mining venture I have no idea, but it does prove silver is in these mountains somewhere.
