Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

The ’JWW’ mark is for the J.W. Wolfenden Corporation, founded by John W. Wolfenden in 1919 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. They operated under that name until 1955 when they became a division of the Crown Silver Company and moved to New York with the new name ‘Wolfenden Silver Company’, using a shield mark with the word ‘Wolfenden’ across it. Not sure what the ‘TWR’ initials are for, but some sources suggest they’re for one of Wolfenden’s designers.
