Met a gentleman today who sold me a few things for a fair price, so as a gesture of goodwill, I told him I would try to research these cups. He has three of them and he is certainly in no hurry to part with them - believe me, I tried. They stand approximately 5 1/2 inches in height. They have no makers marks or silver purity marks that I could see. The cup portion is silver tone as well as the base, although the stems have the characteristics of real Ivory. There are also some semi precious stones inlaid around the bases. I apologize in advance for the terrible pictures. We were in the kitchen of his trailer trying to work around the crowd. Any idea of their age or usage? I volunteered liqueur glasses or cordials, but thought they could possibly have some religious use, such as communion. What say you? Thanks!

In how they're constructed with no marks and all I'm not seeing something older then the 1970's. The oxidation looks a lot like the way silver plate tarnishes and the stems are made of bone and not ivory imo, so my guess is these are import retail store sold items and mostly made for a decorative type thing.
