Silver Gold and rain

Got out in the downpour yesterday, plenty of lightening also... First signal was a .925 silver ring with the letters VLKN Does anyone know what this is ? Then a fine gold chain with a heart locket fell through the scoop a few times before hanging up on the side. Got two wheat's a 1940S and 1952D Have been finding more wheat's than usual, maybe people are taping the old penny jars. Finds were all at the 2nd towel line.
And they didn't charge for parking in the rain !
