Im just curious how many have found them (how many) & How many years have you been detecting...I'll start I have detected for 1.5 yrs & never found a single 1 yet but have found 4 silver halves

I've got about a dozen of them so far. Detecting 35+ yrs, but all found within the last 15 yrs. or so.

Found 1 back in 74,it was in the pocket of an old pair of buried pants, 1921 Peace Dollar! God Bless Chris

It's funny those things are so big you would think there wouldn't be many lost.

well i havent found one yet and its not from lack of trying maybe i could take my half dollar and stomp it and see if it makes it a full dollar would that count

Detecting close to 30 years and haven't found one. Found 2 kennedy halves...lol...one was bent completely in half. Mower victum I think.

Found a Morgan in the first few years of detecting. Haven't found any in the last few years.

Been detecting about 4 years lately. Found one 1887 Morgan in a picnic area behind an old chuch. Found a 1924 Peace dollar in a ballfield near the diamond. Also have dug 2 Franklin halves, 3 Barber halves, and about a dozen Walkers.

In 10 years i've dug 1 half melted Morgan and several clad halves.

I found ONE at a train station. BEAUTIFUL shape except for the BIG gouge my digger put across the obverse! Ouch!! TTC

I found two peace dollars both 1924 One chineese silver dollar 1919 to 1921, one canadian 1965, one elvis presley comemarative, that makes five so far, but they are few and far between.
