HEY GUYS ANDS GALS

Out today for a run with Cousin ED....had a lead on a new location.

Started out slow as we were trying to find the hot spot on the new site.....2 hrs in and only the fancy brooch ...broke the clasp on the back.
ED didn,t have anything either , then I hit the 1899 large cent ....ED didn,t seem to be as happy as I was..lol...he been having a slow week.
Then the belt buckle popped out ...nothing special...cheeply made.

ED at this time had enough of me finding stuff and him zilch. S o he says.... "Heading back towards the truck to find another spot".

I reluctantly agreed......ED made 2 more steps and bang had a 72 hit on the F75.....pops out a silver quarter and his mood chances instantly..lol. So I went over to see....I said... "did you re check your hole"....

Waves the detector over it bang another 72....pops out another silver quarter..rechecks....a fishscale 5 cent silver ....rechecks....large one cent copper. Needless to say ...ED is grinning from ear to ear....hasn,t had a silver for 6 weeks.

So with the mood changed dramatically...he wants to stay and we continue swinging. About 5 minutes later I hit a 71-72 on my F75.....dug my plug ....nothing in the plug and nothing on the pinpointer in the hole..rechecked with the detector and the signal is still there but it is under a root...I push the shovel in and get a chunk of dirt ...turn it over and see 2 silver DIMES... SWEEEEEET !!!

Get up RE-CHECK...another signal is in the dirt I dug out......pinpointer finds a QUARTER... and there lays 3 more silvers...2 quarters and fishscale 5 cent.... run the pointer threw the dirt and see 2 more silvers......another fishscale 5 cent and dime. No coppers...cool.

So much fun finding spills....20 minutes later hit a triple US wheatie hole..... walked 5 feet and hit a double...silver dime and large cent.
ED then hits a 4 coin spill...all small coppers dating in 1940s.

Only 1 single coin hit outta 22 coins.

Weirdest I have seen yet....why was everything in spills...very odd indeed ?????

!2 silver day will be a challenge to beat ! Awesome day for you Aqua ! :notworthy: This hobby gives and gives and gives and then it will surprise you ! MaineRelic

ty Mainerelic...

I,m still fairly new t the hobby and it still excites me as much now as when I started ..never know what or where something nice will pop out...and many locations to go searching...very staisfying when you look for something and find it ...then get a little reward in the way of finds.

I think I would rather find those than those crusty old ones off the beach. The buttons however were the game savers!
There can't be too many places left with all that silver in the ground, just one less now!

Ya..agree...is much better to find them on land..at least you get something thats in good shape.... saltwater coins are very disappointing most of the times.

The buttons is the main goal for the shore hunting.....no doubt. I need to get back on them on a land site.

Finding the silver in any quantity on land is not easy...prolly be a while topping 8 in one hole !!

What I like most is you managed 3 monarchs in one dig. And you also did it with two coin series. If those large cents and five centers would have complied. Do like those Canadian coins.
Well done!

CONGRATS to Cousin Ed and You, a silver spill is a real nice find, and for sure makes a down day a lot more fun indeed

That is some sweet silver nectar there. Congrats boys, well done!

TY Steve in PA

HAHA,.... lotsa nectar...but I didn,t hang upside in a tree like someone we all know :tongue3:

Great silver day! Sweet finds!!!

Great silver day AQUA. Gotta love that.

Man that looked like you guys had loads of fun recovering that spill. Nice going! I've only dug one Canadian silver coin in my life, and it ended up being an 1875H which is ultra-rare as I'm sure you know. It's the only dug item I've ever sold, and I'm sorry I did as I got taken to the cleaners bigtime. Learned my lesson for sure.

I got to come out hunting with you AQUA! All I found today was 60 crates of lobsters to load on my truck. :)

Great story and fantastic silvers. That's a good time right there. :)

Now that is fantastic! Silver coin spills all over the place! I swear there is some kind of magic when you start heading back to the truck, sooo many really awesome finds are made then!
A BIG congrats to you and Ed for probably setting a record of some kind on coin spill finds in a day, week, or month!!!!
Definitely get yourselves back there, there must have been something go'n on for all the coin spills to happen!

Yes...I noticed the 3 different busts...didn,t really pay that close attention before until I seen the 3 side by side. Kinda cool how it worked out.

Wow one Canadian silver coin.... I,ve dug 6 or 7 American silvers up here...but was a lot of traffic here from different parts of the world.

At least you made it count !!!

Do you have a picture of that 1875H ?

Get to work you slacker :-) Btw no one likes a one upper man. I find a few old coppers and you find a bunch of silver. If I find some silver and you find gold I'm really gonna be bummed. Jk I'm happy to see your success. That's what it's all about man

Sweet !

Nice Looking Coins Too

Congrats AQUA
