Howdy,

I pulled off the beach last week a silver band braclet. It is stamped "925" on the inside and has to me, an unknown language on the top. I believe it's from the EAST maybe India, but I'm not sure. I've tried searching the Internet for like characters but, no luck.. The characters are raised. If you can provide an translation I'd appreciate it...

I hope you can ID from the picture I've attached and I do not know if it is right-side up or up-side down.

Thanks,
The OBX Seeker!

nice find :) I think that writing is hindi. in that case that sort of line that runs through the letters should be at the top...

just a thought, if it is hindi you can most likely find a website that allows you to type out hindi words using their symbols. just match the symbols and then get it translated on line.

Thanks nhbenz for the ID and link...
Checked it all out, Hindu mantra translates " I bow to Lord "Shiva" or "I bow to the God within"...
Attach new pic of braclet right-side up...
