Okay ~ this bracelet was recovered by a friend of mine while excavating for a home addition . He said it caught his eye and as best he can figure it was between 5 and 6 feet down. He thinks he broke it with the bucket ,the clasp or pin device still works. Question ?? dose anyone know the origin or age of this piece ? I can't find any mark or stamping on it ? And yes !! we looked every for the rest of the treasure !! nothing yet ~~~~~~

My grandmother use to have a hinged silver bracelet very similar to that one, except hers had birds all the way around. I think she picked it up in Nicaragua, but I am not 100% sure about that.

Based on the bracelets style of design and the hinge . . .
I'd say this dates to the 1890 to 1900's period. :icon_scratch:

It looks to be crudely made, but very decorative.
