Hi gang,
Finally figured out how to resize the photos small enough to get them uploading. Iv'e got sevral years of MDing to upload so look out. Check out the silver (did the dance) belt buckle found on my last Florida trip (near Orange Springs) in December. It says "All Round Champion 1918". And on the Back it says "pure silver".
Thanks 4 lookin.

Great buckle, great find. I'm going to be in Florida in March and hope to do some searching while I'm there. Thanks for posting those pics.

WOW, that something to be proud of!! Awesome find!! Am I reading "Silver Spurs Rodeo" on it?

;) RR

Really nice Buckles, Congrats....
I was wondering also,,, Rodeo???, and also I think it states 1918?

Here's a great (free) little program for resizing pic...
http://www.irfanview.net/

If you save them as .jpg's you reduce the quality to get the overall file size down without having to reduce the size of the pic itself... The viewing area on the forum is about 800 pixels wide...

Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Fantastic - I'm sure that there would be specialist collecters of Rodeo memorabilia who would love to have that in their collection.

Hi cloud, that looks to be a rodeo saddle bronc championship belt buckle. If infact it is then a little research could prove it valuable.

Re: Silver Belt Buckle more info

Thanks for all the replies.
I've cleaned it up a little.
On the back it says BK Silversmiths.
Above that I thinks it says Arizona.
Below BK it says engraved. The buckle weighs in at 3 ounces.
I checked out B-K Silversmiths couldn't find my buckle but from the photos on the site it may be worth $900-$1800.OMG! I almost fell of my chair.

Ride em' Cowboy! Now that's a great find.
Congrats.

I thought that might be the case. In the rodeo world they give belt buckles instead of trophies, I know I have one for bull riding back when I rode the circuit 400 years ago. Retired after last trip to the hospital in September of 1963.
