Heya everyone;

I have a couple neat finds to share with you today, the pendant was found yesterday and the ring was last week. :)

First up.

1961 Silver Bear pendant, Swedish import hallmark.
I found this one yesterday at the back of a swimming hole that has been used as such since prospectors hit this area.
This is not the first silver I have found here, I found a Mercury Dime the last time I was there.
I have not really figured out the maker yet, KP, so any help is appreciated. :)

I think that KP might be K.E. Palmberg who designed for Alton but I am not 100% sure.

Next is a really neat silver plated ring that has lost most of the silver.
I found this one about a week ago sniping the bottom of some rapids.

Do you guys have any idea what the primary metal is? It gets warm really quick and no greening, maybe bronze?
Could you guys give me an idea of possible date too?

The silverware pattern might give you a clue on the ring. That's pretty cool and might be old. I'm not sure what the core metal was on plated flatware but I'd agree maybe bronze. The marks were probably further up the "neck" and cut off.

Yup, I agree completely!
A new prospector that we took out suggested the same thing, a poor man's ring, possibly wedding ring.
My X-Wife's Grandmother's wedding ring was a nail.

Old hippie spoon ring hahahaha,still got a couple but mine are rhodium plated so actually worth $$$$$$$$$$-John

I don't think I could bring myself to do that to a silver quarter. :(
