Theses are today's finds. A gold cufflink ?. And a Medieval hammered farthing of Probably Edward 1. Looks like it must have been made on a Monday morning. The flan is anything but round, the pictures are poor ( taken under house lights, dark now in merry old England). There's a lot more detail on the coin.

Very nice finds! First glance I thought the cuff link was a finger nail till I saw the back!
Well I guess something's never change (Monday morning), maybe a little too much mead the night before, or he really wasn't into his job!

Here's a slightly better pic. The marks look like a 9 and 375, and an anchor for Birmingham. The date letter is S. I think 1892 ?.

I think your probably right about the hallmarks. 9k don't see that much. Awesome finds !!
