Found a 1954 D Roosevelt dime today. I also found an other old car company item in the same area I found the old Buick watch fob and the ford model A hub cap. This time I found a Chevrolet pendant. I also found a half, a 1977 Kennedy. HH

Nice FOB and congrats on the silver! HH, Mike

Sorry to dis-agree, but the valve is not a gas valve. Its called a drain cock( actually nowdays they cant use that word). I collected early engines and tractors for years, and they were used to drain water from engine blocks, valve chambers etc. Notice the tapered threads, indicates it was a pipe thread, used in most engine blocks etc. They are still available new from several sources, including Essex Brass in Mich. I am not discounting that it is old, since these were used before 1900 and since. Just offer this assesment for your info.
