It warmed up a lot here in Ohio over week or so - high as 55 - 60 degrees for several days.
These finds were made on a few hunts - on different days at 1800's home sites.

1936 & 1943 - Mercury Dimes
1947 D - Roosevelt Dime
1895 - Indian Cent
(No Date) - Buffalo Nickel
Watch Winder with Dog Figure
Brass Key Fob - "Duquesne Registry Co. - Pittsburgh, PA - One Dollar Reward - Drop In Any Letter Box"
"Jack" from the old Jacks & Ball game.
Brass Makeup Compact
(16) Wheat Cents - 1910 to 1955 (my 1900th all time Wheat Cent is in this bunch) :BangHead:

Good Hunting !

A very diverse and well hunted time you had our there! Love those old relics!! JB

Nice finds. I'd love to find a buffalo nickel.
From what I've been told ...
It was common for the old timers in this hobby to "cherry pick" the high conductors like Silver coins and leave.
That's why a lot of the sites we hunt these days only give up Wheat Cents and Nickels.
Whenever I go to a site where there should be Silver coins, but there isn't any - I really start paying close attention to my Nickel signals. Doing this over the years has helped me find well over 100 - Shield, V, War and Buffalo Nickels.

I knew there was a reason I wasn’t finding silver at these old houses. One if I’m lucky.
Congrats on some nice finds.
1900th wheat!!!! That’s a lot of wheats. They do add up quickly though. Tough to find ones in good shape.
Neat to see one of those jacks again. I remember playing that game and marbles as a kid. Cheaper entertainment back then. 👍
