After 10 wheat pennies I finally found this. I was going to put it on "what is it" since I don't know the age so any info is appriciated.

Front says Hotel Sherman

Bottom says - 19 International Silver Compan, Silver Sodered, 0211 1 1/2 oz

Well my wife took it away from me to put toothpicks in... so now it's a toothpick holder. She said I can keep the wheat pennies, she's good to me.

Probably an individual cream container for coffee/tea service, or maybe for table setting. That would be my guess. The shape sort of suggests the shape of old milk/cream bottles. Does the top side of the lip have a slight recess like could have had a flat paper/cardboard lid fit down into it? A neat find whatever it's original purpose. HH
