Thank ya sir. I don't have much ground left that's virgin to me. Just along the road and around the farmers house plus 12' of latrine line I haven't been able to dig sense Oct. because the soil has been too wet.

You know you have a most incredible site when you have to devote an entire room to display your finds. You may have to hire a secretary just to catalog all these amazing pieces. Once the finds slow down to a normal hunt's speed, I imagine the adrenaline high will cause you to just drop from exhaustion. Good problem to have!8-)

Latrine Glass!

Back to digging latrines finally. It's really still too wet but I couldn't take it anymore. I got a nice E. R. SQUIBB medicine , a utensil handle. the end of a belt and some Peter Dorni pipe pieces.

THANK YA SIR. I've been told by a few old timers that 69's were mostly carried by NY, PA, & OH troops. That seems to be true from what I've seen.

On this particular camp I prefer the CTX with the 17" coil most of the time. The soil is not hot at all and I swear the CTX goes deeper. The only time I've gotten deeper targets was when I put the big 18" mono coil on the GPX. You loose iron discrim. but if you use it enough you can kinda figure it out because even with the mono coil iron won't pinpoint well. It still always end up in the side wall. So if you circle it while short swinging over the target the target will move.
Other camps with just a little mineralization I use the GPX , hands down the best.

Thanks for the amazing ride JDug, I'm totally gobsmacked with the post and will spend a few coffees going over the photos one by one looking and enjoying.:notworthy:
