Should I buy?....

I have a friend who has a Treasure Tracker XR8. He's "found" a metal picnic basket, and the wiring in his appt. Some REEAL treasure huntin' goin' on there!! lol That being said, should I or shouldn't I relieve my friend of this metal detector? It has no manual. Neither he or I have been able to find any pertinent information on this item anywhere online! When we did a search, all links took us to the same dead ends! I'm just now getting familiar with this site! I'm hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction. I'm a VERY GREEN treasure hunter when it comes to metal detecting! Please be gentle! LOL!

Very limited information on this machine it seems and there's past posts of low values of $2. I'd say if your inclined to try a machine out look for something a little more main stream.

No don`t buy it....stay with the name brands ...you`ll have a better chance to enjoy the hobby.
